Who We Are:

Symetria Recovery is the #1 outpatient rehab in Illinois and Texas. It started with three simple, yet game-changing core beliefs: Addiction is a disease; co-occurring mental health conditions should be addressed, and patients deserve respect, not judgement. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine products, but they can also receive Methadone, and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction.

What You Will Do:

  • Retrieve, collate, and report data related to monthly revenue recognition tracking.
  • Maintain and update the Accounts Receivable tracking model each month to report all activity related to patient claims and subsequent activity related to each claim by respective date of service.
  • Prepare Accounts Receivable Aging Waterfall report for all claims/business by date of service to include:
  • Claims at a minimum (patient, patient ID, location, payer, claim amount, service type)
  • All information related to the claim per EOB and payment transaction reports (payment, transfer to patient, adjustments)
  • Prepare monthly Departmental Financial Summaries
  • Retrieve, collate and report payer data and analysis related to contracted business activities.
  • Prepare and report analysis and statistics related to patient billing census.
  • Advanced reporting and mapping of contractual values to services renders vs reported.
  • Assist with preparation of fiscal budgets and monthly forecasts as needed.
  • Take a lead role in the development, maintenance, and reporting of regular Financial KPI reports and analysis.
  • Prepare ad hoc schedules, analysis, and presentations upon request.
  • Team with and support the Financial Accounting and Revenue Cycle Managers to ensure accurate and timely month-end close and month end reporting.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to Finance and/or Sr. management upon request.
  • Analyze clinical and financial data to visualize trends and forecasting.
  • Develop and automate BI dashboard for various departments covering a range of needs on a granular level

    Who You Are:

    • You must be intellectually curious and have strong bias to understand our business through the numbers
    • You should know how to ask questions to understand the business drivers behind the financial forecast.
    • General computer skills: Excel modeling is a craft you take seriously. You find ways to write error-proof formulas and build models with logical flow. Besides sweating the details, you can also derive insights and put together summary presentations with key findings for a high-level audience (Executives and Board).
    • Experience in Power BI or crafting visual representations for data analysis.
    • Experience with creating and maintaining databases for data warehousing is a plus.
    • The ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the nature of the work you are doing.
    • We expect a successful candidate may come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, but we’re particularly interested the following:
    • Minimum 2 years work experience in a related position with heavy financial analysis
    • Background in healthcare is helpful but not required
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics preferred
    • Experience with creating and maintaining databases for data warehousing
    • Reporting automation and presentation
    • Data Engineering – Taking data from API endpoints and processing the data into usable and reportable.
